Epithets of Meher Baba


Coincidentally I saw this poster on amazon.com with epithets of Jesus in Spanish—

—names like Lamb of God, Beloved, Light of the World, the Word.… Interestingly, one of these Spanish epithets is “Rama,” which sounds like the name of the Hindu avatar Lord Rama, but it turns out that rama in Spanish means a branch: Jesus as Messiah is referred to in the Bible as the Branch, a “shoot” or descendant of the lineage of David.
